Instant Pot Grass-Fed Beef Bone Broth
Ingredients:
2 pounds grass-fed, grass-finished beef bones
1 onion, quartered
2 carrots, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
4 cloves garlic, smashed
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon peppercorns
2 bay leaves
Water
Instructions:
Prepare Bones: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the bones on a baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes until browned. This enhances the flavor of the broth.
Load Instant Pot: Add the roasted bones to the Instant Pot along with the onion, carrots, celery, garlic, apple cider vinegar, sea salt, peppercorns, and bay leaves.
Add Water: Fill the Instant Pot with water until the bones and vegetables are fully submerged, but do not exceed the maximum fill line.
Cook: Secure the lid and select the "Soup/Broth" setting. Set the timer for 120 minutes (2 hours). Once the cooking time is complete, let the pressure release naturally.
Strain: Carefully remove the lid and strain the broth through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl. Discard the solids.
Store: Allow the broth to cool before transferring it to airtight containers. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
Enjoy your nourishing beef bone broth as a warm drink, a base for soups, or a cooking liquid for grains and vegetables.

The Benefits of Bone Broth
Bone broth has been consumed for centuries and is known for its numerous health benefits. Here are some reasons to incorporate bone broth into your diet:
Rich in Nutrients: Bone broth is packed with vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that support overall health.
Gut Health: The gelatin in bone broth helps to heal and seal the gut lining, improving digestion and reducing inflammation.
Joint Health: Collagen in bone broth supports joint health and can reduce symptoms of arthritis.
Immune Support: The amino acids in bone broth, such as arginine, glutamine, and cysteine, boost the immune system.
Skin Health: Collagen improves skin elasticity and hydration, reducing wrinkles and promoting a youthful appearance.
Hydration: Bone broth is a great way to stay hydrated, especially when you’re not feeling well.

Tips for Staying Healthy While Traveling by Plane
Staying healthy while traveling can be a challenge, but with a bit of preparation, you can ensure you maintain your wellness routine. Here are some tips on what to bring with you on a plane:
Protein Powder: Pack whey, collagen, or pea protein powder to ensure you get your daily protein intake. Easy to mix with water or milk.
Healthy Snacks: Bring nuts, seeds, dried fruit, and protein bars to avoid unhealthy airport food.
Hydration: Carry a reusable water bottle and herbal tea bags to stay hydrated. Avoid sugary drinks and alcohol.
Supplements: Bring your daily vitamins and immune boosters like vitamin C, zinc, and probiotics.
Antibacterial Wipes: Use them to clean your hands and surfaces around your seat. Always check ingredients or make your own, by soaking a half paper towel roll in a mixture of water, castile soap, vinegar and lavender essential oil drops.
Comfort Items: A neck pillow, eye mask, and noise-canceling headphones can help you rest and reduce stress.
Healthy Meal Options: Pack a salad or a wrap with plenty of vegetables and a source of protein for a balanced meal.
Electrolyte Packets: Help maintain hydration levels, especially on long flights.
Essential Oils: Lavender or peppermint oil can help reduce stress and promote relaxation.
